Toca Elite Pro Series Congas & Bongos
A New Market Standard for Price Point and Quality
Most
congas measure in the neighborhood of 30" in height. That dimension,
combined with skin diameter and a special girth, contributes to
the unmistakable tone and projection of Toca congas. With our new
Toca Elite Pro Series Congas and Bongos, we've slightly tweaked
sizes (for example, congas stand at 28") and features, and we've crafted
an unprecedented ensemble of drums for the intermediate drummer--unprecedented
in terms of quality and price point. An intermediate player, faced
with this kind of wallet-friendliness and the alternatives, is
going to go Toca Elite Pro. When a player sets hand to these drums,
he/she will recognize instantly that Toca Elite Pro Congas and
Bongos are the way to go. We've all heard claims about blurring
the line between pro and affordable; this time we're delivering
the goods.
Shells are available in a choice of two ply premium Asian oak
or seamless fiberglass, offering players the two key contemporary
timbres for live and studio. Sizes are 11" and 11-3/4"with
double-conga stand and 12-1/2" matching Tumbadora. Easy Play
Style Hoops provide firm seating for specially selected top grade
bison heads. Hardware is durable, high-luster chrome, or the player
can opt for an eye-catching black nickel.
Matching bongos with ribbed shells are available in the same color
choices: Natural Maple Fade (NF) and Crimson Fade (CF) for wood
drums; Black on Black (BKB) for fiberglass drums.
Congas mount on a new fully-adjustable double stand with an ingenious
top plate that obviates the need for the usual four mounting screws,
replacing them with a single clamp device. Set them and forget
them!
They're big on projection, rich with tone, and as handsome as
anything out there. Toca Elite Pro Series Congas and Bongos, totally
living up to the "pro" in the name.
Intermediate players, club players, and advanced students will
be all over these. Toca Elite Pro drums have the potential to take
over the market. When people hear about the quality, tone, and
price point, it's a no-brainer. No other series comes close.
