Toca Synergy Mali Art Hand Painted Djembes
Four beautiful hand-painted African Mali symbols, representing wisdom, transformation, harmony and independence, adorn the outer surface of each drum. The inside of the djembe has lateral grooves and rough-surface inner shell carvings that reduce interior swirling overtones which also helps focus fundamental pitches. Those pitches come more easily with a solid piece of tone wood that has been kiln dried then sealed with twenty coats of teak oil. Applied in these quantities, premium sealers act both as a protection agent and promoter of defined pitches. And locating and locking those pitches is made easier by means of a hand selected authentic goatskin head, seated by a braided hoop and tensioned via network of interlaced Alpine rope strengthened by woven cores.
