John Tesh

Till was born and raised in Braunschweig, Germany. He started playing drums at the age of three and played his first gig at the age of nine. He also began to study classical piano at the age of six.

Till currently works with a diverse roster of artists of all genres in and around Los Angeles: In 2022 he joined Clinton Kane on his sold-out US tour playing drums and piano. Since 2021 he plays drums for Emmy-winner John Tesh's Big Band. In 2019, Till played drums, piano and ran backing tracks for Jaymes Young's North American fall tour. Other artists include classical guitarist Almer Imamovic, pop artists Rosie Darling,

Caleb Hearn & Emily Vaughn, french jazz and chanson singer Jessica Fichot, The Voice Germany winner Julian Martel, and many more.

In Germany Till had the privilege of studying privately with Benny Greb, Jost Nickel and Stephan Emig and after graduating high school, he attended the Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena, where he’s currently part of the drum faculty. While and after pursuing his Associates of Arts Degree in Drum Performance, Till worked with renowned musicians such as Allen Stone, Ralph Humphrey (Frank Zappa, Dancing with the Stars), Steve Porcaro (Toto, Michael Jackson), Art Alexakis (Everclear), David Garfield (Boz Scaggs), Denny Dias (Steely Dan) and more.

Before his arrival in Los Angeles, Till performed and recorded with several singer/songwriter and pop/rock artists in Germany including Ricky Lawson (Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder) and Alex Lys (Cassandra Steen). Till also won the nationwide competitions "Jugend Musiziert" and the "DrumHeads!!-Playalong Contest".

Till was a founding member of the pop/rock band and Grammy Amplifier Contest winner Bonavox, who embarked on a West Coast tour with Allen Stone and performed at events including SXSW, Fun Fun Fun Festival, Snapchat, the NAMM Show, ASCAP Expo and Billboard Power 100.
